Comments This is absolutely
backfiring.  The
term "bremelo" has such a
negative connotation to it
that it's well beyond
repair.  There is NOTHING
you can do to try to spin a
positive spin on the word.
How bad is it?  A friend of
mine (B-town native) who
moved to Minnesota was at
work and was asked where he
was from, and he
said "Bremerton, just
outside of Seattle."  He was
then asked "are there a lot
of Bremelos out there?" This
happened in the dead of
Minnesota.  The term
Bremelo, with its negative
meaning and all, has reached
far and wide, even to the
Land of 10k Lakes.

My point is, by merely
bringing the term "bremelo"
back into the spotlight, no
matter how you slice it, all
that is negative about the
term will come back in all
its infamy, and the current
definition of "bremelo" will
never EVER go away.

If you want something
positive about Bremerton,
Legion Field is the only
competitive baseball field
with lights west of Puget
Sound
that matters.  There's
something positive, now run
with it.
